Raise Your Voice
A voting campaign that helps emphasize the importance of making your voice, and vote, heard in an upcoming election. While maintaining a sense of community and a celebration of such.
Taking note of popular social influences within the city, this design focuses on bringing people together through commonality rather than division. Fusing unconscious thought with an active choice.
Voting poster displayed in downtown Kansas City
Crossing out the 'to party' highlights both the proceeding text (Fighting for your rights) as well as the possibilities are endless when you make the active choice to participate in your community
In order to get the viewer to further engage with the text this imagery is meant to convey actively participating in the vote
At the end of the day what matters for voters is allowing them to raise their voice and have the chance to make that voice heard no matter how small
The overlay of the text says to the potential voter that voting and fighting can be one in the same, since many communities with lower voter turn out feel as if their voice does not matter
