Helbent
Leaning into the humanist aspect of Helvetica this typeface bends itself to allude to ink bleeds on a paper, following the natural slopes on the typeface it is based off of.
The idea behind the execution of this 'Helbent' was to bring an interest to a typeface at the front of many criticisms of being "too boring". This was accomplished by exaggerating aspects that make the original type so unique. Fully leaning into a fluid, human ink bleed to bring the concept to life, while infusing more character.
